The Problem With Other Hot Lights
Continuous lights are commonly referred to as the "hot lights" because they tend to produce a great deal of heat. These "hot" lights can limit the types of subjects you are able to photograph. The high heat levels are often uncomfortable for models. Objects that are heat-sensitive, like chocolates, flowers or ice cream, can be rendered useless after several minutes under a "hot" light.
The Starlite Advantage
With the Starlight, extended photo shoots will not result in wilted subjects. The Starlite's housing was carefully engineered to allow air-flow through channels running along the entire lengths of unit. This enables you the convenience of touching the unit without wearing gloves wile you are working. With the Starlite, "What you see is what you get." No more time-consuming test shots and Polaroid waste. The "final" image is right before your eyes at all times.
Innovative Design
The Starlite gives you the results you have always been looking for but could never find in a hot light. Uniquely designed for use with a softbox, the long lamp extends into the center of the box, reflecting light evenly off all four sides, maximizing effeciency and output. The light is soft, beautiful and natural-looking, yet bright and powerful enough for the demands of video or digital photography. All the Starlite lamps are easily interchangeable when cool.
